The theme of the 2024 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit focuses on artificial intelligence

The 2024 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit will be held in Wuzhen, Zhejiang from November 19th to 22nd. The theme of this year's summit is "Embracing a people-oriented, intelligent and good digital future - working together to build a community of shared future in cyberspace", which will focus on artificial intelligence technology, industrial development and its impact on human economic and social development, and respond to the concerns of all parties about the development and governance of artificial intelligence.

Ren Xianliang, Secretary-General of the World Internet Conference, introduced at the meeting that in addition to holding the opening ceremony and the main forum, this Wuzhen Summit will hold 24 sub-forums on topics such as global development initiatives, digital economy, open source ecological development, data governance, artificial intelligence technology innovation and governance, youth and digital future.

This year's Wuzhen Summit focuses on artificial intelligence, and the sub-forum has specially added an artificial intelligence section, and the World Internet Conference Artificial Intelligence Professional Committee will be formally established.

At the same time, the final of the "Direct to Wuzhen" Global Internet Competition is imminent. This year, the new AI+Innovation Application Feature Competition has been launched, attracting many artificial intelligence companies and scenario application units to participate; the "Light of the Internet" Expo focuses on artificial intelligence, and sets up "five major activities" such as display, release, introduction of intelligence, cooperation, and promotion, to promote the first exhibition and debut of innovative achievements in the global Internet field.

Based on the characteristics of previous years, this Wuzhen Summit will continue to innovate, including the establishment of the "World Internet Conference Outstanding Contribution Award"; launching the World Internet Conference Think Tank Cooperation Plan; establishing the World Internet Conference Digital Training Institute, and holding a global Internet Talent Excellence Program Training Class.

In addition, during the summit, a report on the country, platform, and logistics dimensions of cross-border e-commerce competitiveness research will be released; the Data Working Group will release the "Report on International Data Cooperation to Promote Openness, Collaboration, and Win-Win Results" to continue to provide more international public products.
